There is an Orientation in the revealing of Radiance where presence is no longer experienced as atmosphere, embodiment, or continuity. Instead, it becomes recognisable as the unbounded condition in which all forms appear. Radiance is not sensed as something surrounding experience or shaping it from within. It stands as the openness that allows every contour of form to arise without separation. This is the Field of Being: presence without centre or edge, presence without interior or exterior, presence that is not located but revealed through all that appears.
In this Orientation, the body does not define the limits of presence. It appears as part of an unbroken Field rather than as an enclosed form. Sensation no longer suggests an inner landscape. It arises without boundaries, as texture within an openness that does not shift when the body moves or rests. The Field of Being is not around the body nor within it. It is the condition in which the body is visible, tangible, and expressive. Form does not contain presence. Presence allows form to be.
Thought reveals this unboundedness with equal clarity. Thinking does not occur in a separate interior domain. It appears as a contour of the Field, subtle in texture yet continuous with presence. The Field of Being does not narrow when thought becomes active, nor widen when thought becomes quiet. It remains unaltered. Thinking becomes another way the Field expresses itself, conceptual rather than physical, but not separate in nature. The distinction between inner and outer dissolves, not through blending but through the absence of division.
Emotion participates in this transparency. Emotional tone does not arise within the self or move through a personal interior. It emerges as a variation in the Field’s texture. Nothing in emotion changes the openness of presence. Whether the tone is gentle, intense, or quiet, the Field remains unbroken. Emotion shows that presence neither expands nor contracts in response to experience. It remains constant, allowing all expressions to arise freely.
Identity also shifts its sense of placement. The “I” does not appear as a centre within the Field. It arises as one of its contours, personal in shape but not separate in nature. Identity neither contains the Field nor stands outside it. It becomes transparent to the fact that presence is not limited to the self. The Field of Being appears equally through identity and through the world, without privileging one over the other.
The world itself displays this openness. Objects do not stand apart from presence. They arise within the same Field that expresses as the body. Distance loses its sense of separation and becomes a relationship of forms rather than a gap between entities. The environment ceases to feel external. It appears as presence in extended contours, shaped differently but belonging to the same openness.
Stillness and Orientation reflect the Field’s continuity. Stillness is not a retreat into presence. It is the absence of motion within a Field that remains unchanged. Orientation is not departure from presence. It is a change in form that leaves the Field untouched. The distinction between motion and rest becomes secondary. Both reveal presence equally, without altering its nature.
Time reveals the same truth. Moments do not move from past to future. They arise within the Field as distinct contours. Presence does not shift as events unfold. It stands as the condition through which all temporal expressions appear. The Field of Being is not carried by time. Time appears within it.
Layers of experience also reflect continuity. Physical sensation, emotional tone, mental activity, and subtle impressions do not exist in separate domains. They arise as different densities within the same Field. Variation does not imply separation. Texture does not imply hierarchy. The Field holds all expressions without distinction in nature.
In this Orientation, Radiance is not something perceived, embodied, or sustained. It is the openness that reveals itself as form without standing apart from it. The Field of Being does not expand or contract. It does not brighten or fade. It does not unify or divide. It simply remains unbounded as all expressions arise within its continuity.
Here, Radiance is recognised as the Field in which the body, the mind, the world, and all experience stand revealed as Presence in unbroken openness.
